Medication lists, daily logs and emergency information sheets are there to help you record and share information. They do not check doses, interactions or whether a treatment is suitable. Always follow the instructions of the prescriber and pharmacist, and ask them if you are unsure.

If someone is in danger, has collapsed, has chest pain or difficulty breathing, or needs urgent medical help, call 999 or 112 straight away. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, contact NHS 111 by phone or online. Do not use CareTaskNest, the contact form or email to seek emergency help.

Rules, charges and eligibility for support such as council-funded social care, NHS continuing healthcare, Attendance Allowance and Carer's Allowance differ between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and change over time. Our guides are dated and cite their sources, but they may not reflect the latest changes or your specific circumstances. Please check with your local council, the NHS or GOV.UK, and seek legal or financial advice where appropriate.
Tools and estimates
The home care cost calculator and other tools produce estimates based on the figures you enter. They are not quotes, and actual costs will vary. The home safety checklist is a prompt for your own review, not a professional safety assessment.
Reminders and tasks
Tasks, due dates and calendar entries in the planner depend on people checking them and on devices and connections working. Do not rely on CareTaskNest as the only safeguard for anything where a missed task could cause harm.
