Can I claim caregiver mileage on my taxes?
It depends on your country and your relationship to the person. Some tax systems allow medical travel deductions when you drive a dependant to appointments, others offer carer credits or allowances. Check with your tax authority or an accountant, and keep this log and your receipts as evidence.
